CEO Chung, Young Lip, of EnergyFlow Inc. Awarded the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) Award

On Friday, November 8, 2024, Chung, Young Lip, CEO of EnergyFlow Inc., was honored by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) at an award ceremony held at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Chung, Young Lip, was recognized for his significant contributions to the development and management of national standards for medical devices, particularly in the fields of radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. Since 2018, he has served as an expert on the National Standard Committee for Radiation Therapy and Nuclear Medicine under the MFDS, playing a key role in shaping the national medical device standards. One of his major accomplishments was successfully hosting the IEC Working Group meeting on radiation therapy in Seoul—marking the first time the meeting was held in Republic of Korea.

He has also been deeply involved in the development and implementation of national standards for radiation therapy devices and medical linear accelerators, earning significant recognition for his efforts. In addition to his national contributions, Chung, Young Lip, is an active participant in international standard development through his work with the IEC TC62C Subcommittee. EnergyFlow Inc. continues to make strides in its corporate social responsibility initiatives by actively participating in public interest activities. This includes contributions from Chung, Young Lip, and Senior Advisor Ji, Young Hoon, who also serve as national standard experts. Their engagement is part of the company’s broader commitment to contributing to Regulatory Affairs (RA) and Government Affairs (GA), furthering its social contribution efforts.
